Children are entitled to 15 hours free care from the term after their 3rd birthday. 30 hours funding is available, subject to eligibility and availability. We also accept children with 2 year old funding. Funding can be used for any session (except Breakfast Club).
Non funded children are charged £6.00 per hour.
All children pay £1.50 per day for snacks and cooking for the morning and all day sessions and 75p per day for an afternoon session.
Fees are payable at the beginning of each half term.
The nursery accepts employee voucher schemes.
Unwell children should not attend nursery.
In the case of vomiting or diarrhoea children MUST NOT attend until at least 48 hours after the last episode.
Please inform the staff of any infectious illness so that we can alert other parents if necessary.
Unfortunately head lice and threadworms are common amongst young children. If you think your child may be affected then please let us know so that others can be alerted. Treatment is usually very simple but will not be effective for long if no one else is checking and treating their child. The identity of the source of any outbreak will be kept confidential.
From September 2017 we will be introducing a uniform for the children of polo shirt and sweatshirt.
We encourage parents to dress their children in practical clothes suitable for going outside and active play whatever the weather.
Sunhats should be provided in the summer, wellies when it is wet and coats in the cold weather. It is essential for items such as coats, hats etc to be named.
Please let the nursery know with as much notice as possible if your child will miss sessions due to holidays.
Funded children can only miss a set number of sessions per term. Please see a staff member for details.
Apart from very exceptional circumstances, fees are still charged during illness and holidays.
Whenever possible the nursery will try to stay open, whatever the weather. However, if there is inclement weather and the First School shuts, the nursery will also need to close.
If there are severe weather conditions, please look at the news section on the Home Page of this site, or listen to the school reports on Wave 105.

Information passed to the manager or Key Person will not automatically be shared with all other staff. It will only be passed on with permission. Please also see our Safeguarding Children Policy.
The right to confidentiality is not absolute; the welfare of the child is paramount.
